There is usually no one factor that makes helps make a great movie. It is a combination of the story, the acting, the cinematography, sound, music, makeup…
There is usually no one factor that makes a movie not worth watching. There are some movies where everything about it is bad. The acting, the sound, cinematography. In the age of good amateur YouTube videos, I wonder why Amazon Prime would bother wasting their storage for hosting a movie like ‘Angel of Music’.
This was also a proof that 1.5 out of 5 stars by 26 customers means it is not worth wasting time watching this movie. I wonder how IMBd gave this movie 5.7 out of 10.
The only reason why I would give this movie a 1 star out of 5 would be that it was only 47 minutes long. After 10 minutes of watching the movie, I started getting restless knowing that watching rest of this movie is a waste of time. As one of the characters in the movie said, it appeared that I would not survive watching this movie, but I forced myself to finish watching the movie.
I have watched Phantom of the Opera, on which this movie is based off. Even knowing the story of the Phantom did not help me appreciate the story of this movie. If you have or have not watched the Phantom, my request to you is to put 47 minutes of your time to better use. If you really have to watch something, pick a random YouTube video instead of this movie. 47 minutes of YouTube videos are more likely to give you something memorable than watching this movie.
